Abandoned Clothing Company Building In Cleveland
This huge building on Cleveland’s East side had been on my list for a while. I had passed it many times looking for a way in. Then I saw someone else had taken photos there and those made me want to get in even more. The building was secured pretty well and on a main street, so I waited patiently. And soon enough a friend let me know there was an opening.
So in we went. There was not much left in the building as far as machinery or reminders of the people who worked there for so many years, but the building was huge and worth the wait. An interior courtyard I had seen in a few photos was much cooler in person. Random bay doors 5 stories up leading to nowhere made us wonder about how things were when this factory was fully functioning.
Oh, and the pin-ball machines. These things were the best subject for photos as their dusty glass and lights were at home with the grime and peeling paint around them. I had seen them in one other photo and even asked for the location, but was blown off. I knew it was a matter of time before I found them.
